In the safety of our homes, we strive to provide security and peace for our families. However, there are times when unwelcome dangers put our strength and resilience to the test. This was the case for one family in Illinois.

In the midst of the pandemic, when many people were seeking refuge in their homes, two masked intruders carried out a terrifying home invasion that broke the peace of a suburban neighborhood of Illinois causing particular harm to one family.

When the intruders broke into the house, the homeowner had to fight for his life in order to safeguard his family. When his wife and children were being held at gunpoint, he opened fire, killing one of the intruder.

This incident makes us deeply consider the safety precautions we put in place in our homes.
